A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado, Sherman, Thomas, Wallace, Logan, Greeley and Wichita counties in Kansas through 5AM MST (6 AM CST). Wet heavy snow is forecasted to fall generally along and west of Highway 83 through the morning hours. Mixed precipitation is also possible at times though any accumulations of ice should be light. Be alert for slick roads and surfaces with the snow and mixed precipitation. Tonight, snow may mix in with rain at times creating slick surfaces.
