 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Elevated fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon for areas west of Kansas Highway 25 due to low relative humidity and dry fuels.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions are possible on Thursday afternoon for areas west of Kansas Highway 25 due to low relative humidity and dry fuels.  Wintry precipitation is expected to start late Friday morning and last into mid-day Saturday. Snow, rain, and rain/snow mixed precipitation are expected. Refreeze may occur overnight, creating hazardous traveling conditions on Friday and Saturday night. Winds on Friday evening into Saturday morning may cause blowing snow to occur, reducing visibilities.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be required today.
