YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  A few hours of near critical fire weather conditions are expected through the afternoon with NW winds gusting 20-30 mph, especially along and north of Interstate 70. Elevated fire weather then remains a concern for the entire area through the afternoon as winds will slowly decrease through sunset.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Yuma and Kit Carson counties in Colorado for Monday. A Fire Weather Watch has been issued for the surrounding counties to the east of the warning for Monday as well. Fire weather conditions are forecast to occur from the late morning through the afternoon hours with breezy southerly winds up to 35 mph and low relative humidity. Any burning is not advised for Monday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected.
