A corridor of near critical to locally critical fire weather conditions is occurring from Greeley county Kansas northeastward into Thomas county Kansas. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY... A very dry air mass works its way into the area Saturday afternoon leading to elevated fire weather conditions along and north of a Cheyenne Wells, Colorado to Trenton, Nebraska line. Near critical fire weather is forecast on Monday for Yuma, Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado with southerly winds gusting up to 40 mph.
