YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect through noon MDT (1 PM CDT). Additional snowfall amounts of a few tenths to 3 inches are expected, highest along a narrow axis from Flagler to Saint Francis and Atwood. Locally higher amounts are possible generally along a line from Flagler to Goodland, Saint Francis, Atwood and Oberlin. Visibilities could fall below one mile at times within this band making for hazardous travel conditions.  Wind chill readings tonight fall into the single digits above and below zero.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  Wind chill readings Monday night through Tuesday are forecast to be in the single digits above zero.  Elevated fire weather conditions are anticipated Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon along west of the Colorado Kansas border outside of any lingering snow cover.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed. We would appreciate any snowfall reports via telephone and social media.
