YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  A Winter Weather Advisory remains for the entire Tri-State region. Snowfall accumulations of 1 to 5 inches are currently expected, highest from Yuma county east across extreme southwest Nebraska. Across northwest Kansas, mixed precipitation is expected. Light ice accumulations are possible prior to the change over to snow. Hazardous travel is likely throughout the region.  Wind chill readings tonight fall into the single digits above zero.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  A Winter Weather Advisory continues through the day Sunday. Wind chill readings Sunday night through Monday morning drop into the single digits above and below zero.  Wind chill readings Monday night through Tuesday morning hover around zero.  Elevated fire weather conditions are anticipated Wednesday through Friday afternoons along the Colorado Kansas border counties.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
