YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  A cold front will move through the area later today into tonight with northerly winds gusting up to at least 40 mph. Travel may be difficult for those in high profile vehicles.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  Much below normal temperatures are expected across the area Saturday through Sunday night. Wind chill readings in the single digits to around 10 degrees above normal are forecast during the overnight and early morning hours Saturday, Sunday and Monday.  A wintry mix of precipitation is anticipated across the area Saturday into Sunday. Travel impacts are expected.  For Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, elevated fire weather conditions are possible across northeast Colorado.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
