YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Areas of dense fog are possible into the midday timeframe for northwest portions of the Tri State region. Visibility may briefly lower to 3 miles or less at times, and could impact travel.  A cold front will move through the area late today into tonight with northerly winds gusting up to 50 mph. Travel may be difficult for those in high profile vehicles.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  Much below normal temperatures are expected across the area Saturday through Sunday night. Wind chill readings in the single digits to around 10 degrees above normal are forecast during the overnight and early morning hours Saturday, Sunday and Monday.  A wintry mix of precipitation is anticipated across the area Saturday and Saturday night. Although its too early to determine specific amounts, impacts to travel will occur.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
