This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TONIGHT... Fog will develop tonight and spread across much of the area. Visibilities will fall to under a half of a mile at times, which may make travel difficult. Showers and a few thunderstorms are favored to affect locations along and south of a Cheyenne Wells to McCook line. Brief, heavy rainfall and cloud to ground lightning will be the main hazards. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY... Fog will continue through the morning hours and begin to clear after 9 AM MDT (10 AM CDT). Visibilities under a half of a mile are expected. Fog is forecast to return Wednesday evening and persist into Thursday morning. Dense fog will again be possible. Well below normal temperatures are likely starting around Friday/Saturday. The Tri-State Area sees chances for rain and wintry precipitation on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Little to no accumulation is expected at this time should this precipitation occur.
