YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Near Critical to localized Critical fire weather conditions are anticipated Wednesday afternoon for locations generally along and west of Highway 27 and along and south of Interstate 70. Caution should be used if burning outdoors.  Northwest winds of 30 to 40 mph with gusts to 60 mph are currently forecast Thursday night generally along and west of Highway 27. As a result, some blowing dust and reduced visibilities are possible. On Friday, northwest winds gusting 50 to 60 mph are likely in the morning, slowly decreasing in speed through the afternoon. These winds may make travel difficult for high profile vehicles and may blow away any loose outdoor objects such as Halloween decorations.  Many locales will likely see temperatures at or below freezing Saturday and Sunday mornings.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
