Near Critical to localized critical fire weather conditions are anticipated Wednesday afternoon for locations generally along and west of Highway 27 and along and south of Interstate 70 as SW winds gust up to 35 mph. Caution should be used if burning outdoors. Northwest winds at 30-40 mph with gusts exceeding 50 mph are currently forecast Thursday evening through Friday morning. These winds may make travel difficult for high profile vehicles and may blow away any loose Halloween decorations.
