YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  Elevated to Near Critical fire weather conditions are anticipated Wednesday afternoon for locations generally along and west of Highway 27 and along and south of Interstate 70. Caution should be used if burning outdoors.  Non severe thunderstorms are possible across the area Wednesday night through Thursday evening.  Northwest winds gusting 35 to 45 mph, perhaps up to 50 mph, are anticipated Thursday through the day Friday.  Many locales will likely see temperatures at or below freezing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight.
