YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  Elevated to Near Critical fire weather conditions are expected Friday afternoon along the Colorado Kansas border and along and north of Interstate 70 due to gusty north winds, low humidity and dry fuels. Caution should be used if burning outdoors.  The first freeze of the season is likely Friday night and Saturday morning as temperatures drop into the middle 20s and lower 30s.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
