YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Showers and thunderstorms are anticipated to develop in Colorado this evening and will track slowly eastward into western Kansas this evening and tonight. There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms this evening for areas west of U.S. Highway 83. Strong wind gusts up to 60 mph appear to be the primary severe weather hazard though hail up to quarters in size is also possible. Locally heavy rainfall may accompany any slow moving storms.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  Thunderstorms may redevelop over portions of the area during the early afternoon on Tuesday. Severe storms capable of producing large hail and damaging winds are possible for areas along and east of the Colorado border during the Tuesday afternoon and evening hours. Locally heavy rainfall is also possible with slow moving thunderstorms. Please watch for future forecast updates.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
