YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  Southerly winds will further strengthen on Sunday and persist through Monday. Sustained winds ranging from 30 to 40 mph and gusts up to 50 mph are expected on both days, mainly during the late morning and afternoon hours. Wind of this magnitude may create difficult travel conditions for high-profile vehicles, especially on routes that run from west to east, such as Interstate 70, where crosswinds will be strongest. Near critical to locally critical fire weather conditions are possible along with localized blowing dust due to these winds on Sunday and Monday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
