Breezy south winds will continue across the majority of the Tri- State area this evening. Expect wind speeds ranging from 25 to 35 mph and with occasional gusts up to 45 mph. Isolated thunderstorms are still possible this evening in eastern Colorado between 6 PM and 9 PM MDT. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY... Southerly winds will further strengthen on Sunday and persist through Monday. Sustained winds ranging from 30 to 40 mph and gusts up to 50 mph are expected on both days, mainly during the late morning and afternoon hours. Wind of this magnitude may create difficult travel conditions for high-profile vehicles, especially on routes that run from west to east, such as Interstate 70, where crosswinds will be strongest.
