YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Near critical fire weather conditions are forecast across far eastern Colorado this afternoon through sunset.  There is a Marginal to Slight Risk of severe thunderstorms across the entire Tri-State area between 1 PM and Midnight MDT, mainly for locales along and east of Kansas Highway 25. All modes of severe weather are possible including large hail, damaging wind gusts, tornadoes, and cloud to ground lightning.   .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  Near critical to critical fire weather conditions are forecast along and west of a line from St. Francis to Tribune. Friday afternoon through sunset. Caution should be used if burning outdoors.  There is a Marginal and Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening along and east of a line from Trenton, Nebraska to Hill City, Kansas. All modes of severe weather are possible including large hail, damaging wind gusts and a few tornadoes.  Elevated to critical fire weather conditions are forecast along and west of Kansas Highway 25 Saturday afternoon through sunset.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be needed this afternoon through the evening.
