YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Isolated showers and thunderstorms may form over Northwest Kansas through the early evening hours. The primary hazards include cloud to ground lightning and wind gusts of 40-50 mph.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Near critical fire weather conditions are forecast across far eastern Colorado Thursday afternoon through sunset.  Thursday afternoon and evening strong to severe thunderstorms may form east of a Trenton, NE to Colby and Leoti, KS line. Confidence in severe weather increases to the east.  Near critical to critical fire weather conditions are forecast along and west of Kansas Highway 25 Friday afternoon through sunset. Caution should be used if burning outdoors.  Elevated fire weather conditions are forecast along and west of Kansas Highway 27 Saturday afternoon through sunset.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
