YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Patchy fog is possible along and south of a Yuma, Colorado to Hoxie, Kansas line this morning near sunrise. Localized dense fog is possible. If traveling be aware for rapid, sudden reductions in visibility. Use your low beams if you encounter any reductions in visibility due to fog.  A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Sunday afternoon and evening for Yuma, Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado as critical fire weather conditions are forecasted., Elsewhere across the area, elevated to near critical fire weather conditions remain possible.  A Heat Advisory has been issued for Norton and Graham counties this afternoon into the evening with heat indices up to 106 degrees expected.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  A Heat Advisory has been issued for Norton, Graham, Red Willow, Decatur, Sheridan and Gove counties Monday afternoon and evening with heat indices up to 107 degrees forecasted.  Heat indices will remain in the low 100s on Tuesday especially along and east of Highway 25.  For Monday through Wednesday, elevated to near critical fire weather conditions continue across the entire forecast area. Caution should be used if burning outdoors.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not currently anticipated.
