YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  There is a low chance for isolated storms across far northwestern portions of the area, locations generally north of I-70 and west of Highway 27, this evening.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Sunday afternoon and evening for Yuma, Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado as critical fire weather conditions are currently in the forecast. Elsewhere across the area, elevated to near critical fire weather conditions remain possible.  Heat indices will remain in the low 100s on Sunday and Monday especially along and east of Highway 25.  Monday through Wednesday, elevated to near critical fire weather conditions continue across the entire forecast area. Caution should be used if burning outdoors.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not anticipated to be required.
