YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Thunderstorms will develop in northeast Colorado this evening and move across the Tri State area after 6 pm MT tonight before exiting the area around midnight MT. These storms may produce wind gusts in excess of 60 mph as well as locally heavy rainfall and flash flooding. A few instances of hail up to quarter size will also be possible.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Scattered thunderstorms will develop late Wednesday afternoon and continue into the evening hours. A few of these storms may produce wind gusts of up to 60 mph. Areas south of Interstate 70 are slightly favored.  Another round of thunderstorms is likely Thursday afternoon and evening. Some storms may produce large hail, damaging winds and locally heavy rainfall leading to flash flooding.  Thunderstorm chances continue through the weekend. Severe storms and locally heavy rainfall cannot be ruled out.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be required.
