YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Isolated thunderstorms capable of producing brief, localized wind gusts up to 55 mph are possible across portions of eastern Colorado and northwest Kansas this afternoon, generally along and north of Interstate 70. Confidence is low with regard to whether or not storms will develop.  An organized cluster of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds may emerge from the Nebraska Panhandle late this afternoon, tracking eastward into central Nebraska this evening. At this time, areas situated along and north of Interstate 80 appear to be at greatest risk for severe weather.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  Heat indices approaching 105 degrees are anticipated across portions of the area Monday afternoon, mainly east of Kansas Highway 25.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
