This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TONIGHT... Isolated thunderstorms may move into the Colorado portions of the Tri-State Area tonight. Thunderstorms that occur tonight have the potential to become severe. If a thunderstorm becomes severe, primary storm hazards will include hail up to size of quarters and wind gusts up to 60 mph through around midnight for locations generally along and west of the Colorado-Kansas border. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY... Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible on Sunday evening for areas generally along and north of Interstate 70 and west of Kansas Highway 25. At this time, the threat for severe weather is low. Heat index values of 100 to 104 degrees are forecast to return to areas generally east of Kansas Highway 25 on Monday afternoon through the early evening and again on Wednesday afternoon through the early evening.
