YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  There is a Heat Advisory in effect for Tuesday afternoon and evening. Heat index values will range as high as 105 to 106 degrees for the following counties: In Nebraska, Dundy, Hitchcock and Red Willow. In Kansas, Gove, Sheridan, Graham, Norton, Rawlins and Decatur.  There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening. Damaging wind gusts will be the primary hazard.  Thunderstorms may develop again Wednesday afternoon and evening. Damaging wind gusts will be the primary hazard.  An extended period of hot temperatures are expected across the area through mid week. Heat index values in the 100 to 105 degree range are forecast generally east of Kansas Highway 25 Wednesday through Thursday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected tonight.
