YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  There is a Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms across the area from mid afternoon to early evening. Although there is considerable uncertainty, if thunderstorms do develop they would be capable of producing large hail and isolated damaging wind gusts.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  An extended period of hot temperatures are expected across the area through next week. Heat index values in the 100 to 105 degree range are forecast generally east of Kansas Highway 25 Monday through Thursday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be required.
