YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for Graham, Gove and Sheridan counties in northwest Kansas through 10 pm CDT. Primary hazards will include large hail, damaging winds and locally heavy rainfall. There is high confidence severe weather will occur southeast of these counties. Elsewhere, there could be scattered strong storms east of Highway 27 through this evening.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  Heat indices approaching/exceeding 100 degrees are anticipated across portions of the area Monday afternoon. If outdoors, be sure to remain hydrated, seek shade and take breaks as needed.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not anticipated.
