YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Scattered thunderstorms are developing along northern portions of the Colorado Front Range this afternoon, tracking east and southeast into northeast Colorado during the late afternoon. An isolated strong thunderstorm may move into Yuma County around 8 PM MDT. Hail up to nickel size with wind gusts up to 50 MPH may occur. There is low confidence for the storms to become severe if they move into Yuma County.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  There is a risk for severe thunderstorms Sunday afternoon and evening east of Highway 83.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not anticipated this afternoon or tonight.
