YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Afternoon highs today climb into the 90s with heat indices near 100 for Norton and Graham counties. There is a low chance for storms this afternoon and evening for counties along the Nebraska border in the Tri-State area. If storms do develop or move into the area, there is a low chance for severe storms from Hitchcock county to Norton county and north. Large hail and damaging wind gusts would be the primary threat.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Afternoon highs climb into the 90s with heat indices near 100 for Norton and Graham counties again on Wednesday. Daily chances for afternoon-overnight thunderstorms continue into the weekend.
