This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon into the evening hours. The areas of focus with the best chance to receive convection will be locales along and west of a line from Yuma, Colorado down to Russell Springs, Kansas. Threats include large hail up to two inches, damaging winds, and even an isolated tornado. Some storms may also produce locally heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY... There will be chances for thunderstorms across the Tri State region from Saturday right through next week. Most of these chances will occur during the evening and overnight hours, but not impact all areas each time.
