This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... Strong to severe storms are possible this afternoon and evening starting around 3pm MDT. If storms do become severe, the main threats would be hail up to tennis ball in size and damaging winds up to 70 mph. The storms are forecasted to mainly affect counties along the Nebraska border and along and south of US 40. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY... There will be thunderstorm chances for the latter half of the week, especially during the afternoon through overnight hours with some severe weather possible. The threat for locally heavy rainfall and potential flash flooding looks to be from Thursday night into Friday night, for those generally along and north of Interstate 70. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
