This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... Scattered thunderstorms will develop in northeast Colorado this afternoon and move into northwest Kansas north of Interstate 70 and southwest Nebraska this evening. Cloud to ground lightning and locally strong wind gusts will be the primary hazards from these thunderstorms. Overnight, additional thunderstorms may develop. Some of those storms may be capable of producing large hail. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY... Tuesday morning...isolated thunderstorms capable of producing large hail may continue. Tuesday afternoon and evening...scattered thunderstorms will develop with a marginal risk for severe storms capable of producing large hail, damaging winds and perhaps an isolated tornado. Wednesday and Thursday...the risk for severe thunderstorms continues both days during the afternoon and evening hours. Large hail and damaging winds will be the primary hazards.
