YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect for a limited portion of the area until 7 pm MDT this evening, mainly north of Interstate 70 and east of Highway 83.  Near critical fire weather conditions are possible for counties along and south of Highway 40. Cloud to ground lightning associated with any thunderstorms could spark fires.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  For Monday through Thursday, there will be a chance for strong to severe thunderstorms, particularly on Wednesday and Thursday. In addition to potential severe weather, these storms will also produce cloud to ground lightning which may spark grass fires.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
