YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Patchy dense fog may develop during the early morning hours and last until around sunrise Saturday morning, mainly for counties from Red Willow to Gove and east.  A Red Flag Warning remains in effect for this afternoon and evening for Kit Carson and Cheyenne [CO] counties. Low relative humidity and gusty winds from the southwest will increase the fire danger.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  Near critical fire weather conditions are possible for counties along and south of I-70 Saturday and Sunday.  For the period Monday through Wednesday, there will be a chance for showers and thunderstorms along with low relative humidity. The primary hazards at this time will be cloud to ground lightning which may create grass fires.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
