YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 11 pm MDT this evening for portions of the area, mainly along and north of Highway 36.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  Patchy dense fog is again possible near sunrise Saturday over Red Willow, Norton, Decatur and Graham counties  A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado Saturday afternoon and evening.  Near critical fire weather conditions are possible for counties along and south of I-70 Saturday and Sunday.  For the period Sunday through Wednesday, there will be a chance for showers and thunderstorms along with low relative humidity. The primary hazards at this time will be cloud to ground lightning which may create grass fires.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be required.
