YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Showers and a few thunderstorms will develop across the area today and become more widespread over the evening hours. Severe thunderstorms are not expected with the main threat being an isolated lightning strike and localized heavy rain.  Fog will persist in isolated areas today and will likely increase in coverage overnight. Visibility may drop below a half of a mile at times.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  There is a chance for afternoon thunderstorms across much of the Tri- State area along and south of Interstate 70 on Wednesday. Locally heavy downpours may be possible.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
