A Red Flag Warning is in effect for most areas west of Highway 83 Tuesday afternoon and early evening. Southerly winds gusting 30 to 40 mph are currently forecast along with low relative humidity values. Near critical to locally critical fire conditions are possible surrounding the warning area. Burning is strongly discouraged. Severe thunderstorms are possible Tuesday afternoon and evening east of Highway 25 and east of Highway 83 Wednesday evening. Large hail and damaging winds are the primary threats. Wednesday and Thursday, Near Critical to Critical fire weather conditions are possible across the area. Near record to record low temperature potential is increasing Saturday and Sunday mornings.
