YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  A Red Flag Warning has been extended through 10 PM MDT (11 PM CDT) for Wallace, Greeley and Wichita counties in Kansas due to southwest winds gusting to 30 mph and relative humidity readings below 15 percent. Outdoor burning is highly discouraged.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  On Friday, northwest winds gusting 40 to 50 mph will be common across the area. Those along and north of Interstate 70 could see some patchy blowing dust and reduced visibilities from early afternoon through about sunset. Near Critical fire weather conditions are likely south of a line from Cheyenne county Colorado to Greeley and Wichita counties in Kansas.  Near Critical fire weather conditions are expected Saturday afternoon south of a line from Flagler to Wallace and Leoti.  Near Critical to Critical fire weather conditions are forecast Monday afternoon for those south of a line from Flagler to Wallace and Leoti.  Near Critical to Critical fire weather conditions are forecast Tuesday afternoon for those along and south of a line from Kit Carson to Gove.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
