Patchy fog is possible along and north of Interstate 70 and west of Highway 27 through sunrise this morning. A Red Flag Warning is in effect Thursday afternoon and early evening for Cheyenne and Kit Carson counties in Colorado, Wallace, Wichita, Greeley, Sherman, Thomas, Sheridan and Logan counties in Kansas. Dangerous fire weather conditions with southwest winds around 55 mph are expected and outdoor burning is highly discouraged. Additionally, blowing dust this afternoon will produce reduced visibilities and unhealthy air quality for those generally east of a line from Kit Carson, Colorado to Goodland, Oberlin and Norton, Kansas Thursday afternoon through about sunset. Another area of concern for blowing dust is across western Yuma and Kit Carson counties. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY... On Friday, counties along the Tri-State border may see northwest winds gusting above 50 mph with patchy blowing dust during the afternoon hours. Near Critical fire weather conditions are possible across Cheyenne county Colorado and Greeley county in Kansas.
