YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Light snow is forecast to move into far eastern Colorado around midnight, continuing slowly east to Kansas Highway 25 by sunrise Saturday morning. Snowfall accumulations are currently forecast to be under one inch and confined to those in far eastern Colorado.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  An unsettled weather pattern will bring below normal temperatures and periodic chances for rain and snow through Monday. Liquid moisture amounts are forecast to range from one tenth to four tenths of an inch with snowfall amounts ranging from a few tenths to three inches. The highest amounts are currently forecast to be west of Kansas Highway 25 and along and north of Interstate 70.  Elevated to Near Critical fire weather conditions are possible Wednesday afternoon and Thursday afternoon for those generally along and south of Interstate 70.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
