YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Patchy blowing dust will produce reduced visibilities and poor air quality through early this evening in Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties of northeast Colorado.  A Red Flag Warning for near critical to critical fire weather conditions remains in effect from noon MDT through 8 PM MDT for Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in northeast Colorado and south of Highway 40 in northwest Kansas near the Colorado state line. All outdoor burning should be avoided. Southwest winds gusting to 50 mph are also expected in the warning area.  Patchy fog will develop overnight along and south of Interstate 70 in northwest Kansas and northeast Colorado. The fog could be dense at times.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  Patchy fog will linger into Thursday morning along and south of Interstate 70. The fog could be dense at times.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be required.
