This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 10 AM MDT (11 AM CDT) for much of the Tri-State area. Visibilities will drop below one quarter mile. Motorists, including those on Interstate 70 should be prepared for rapidly deteriorating conditions as the fog moves in. Blowing dust will produce reduced visibilities and poor air quality from around 2 PM MDT through 7 PM MDT for those generally south of a line from Joes to St. Francis and west of Kansas Highway 27. A Red Flag Warning for Near Critical to Critical fire weather conditions remains in effect from noon MDT through 8 PM MDT for Sherman, Wallace, Logan, Greeley and Wichita counties in Kansas as well as Cheyenne and Kit Carson counties in Colorado. All outdoor burning should be avoided. Southwest winds gusting to 50 mph are also expected in the warning area. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...
