YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the majority of the Tri-State area through late this morning. Patchy fog and freezing drizzle may cause hazardous driving conditions due to slick roadways and reduced visibility.  Northwesterly winds gusting up to around 40 mph are expected within the Tri-State Area this afternoon.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  Southerly winds gusting up to around 40 mph are possible during the day on Friday, strongest along and west of Kansas Highway 25.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be required. Spotters are encouraged to report any visibility reductions or ice accumulation to the National Weather Service in Goodland via social media or telephone.
