This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TONIGHT... Patchy fog producing some reduced visibilities will be possible toward sunrise Tuesday morning for locations extending along a line from Wray to Goodland and Russell Springs. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY... Patchy fog producing some reduced visibilities will be possible for an hour or two after sunrise Tuesday morning for locations extending from Haigler to Brewster to Russell Springs. Areas of blowing dust are forecast late Tuesday morning through early afternoon for parts of Cheyenne and Kit Carson counties in Colorado as well as Sherman and Wallace counties in Kansas. This includes parts of Interstate 70 from Flagler to Goodland. The blowing dust will produce visibilities down to a few miles at times and create poor air quality. A Red Flag Warning is in effect Tuesday afternoon for Cheyenne county Colorado, Wallace, Greeley and Wichita counties in Kansas. In the warning area, west winds gusting to 45 mph and low relative humidity will produce Critical fire weather conditions. Elsewhere, relative humidity wont be quite as low with west winds gusting 25 to 45 mph. Outdoor burning should be avoided across the Tri-State area during the afternoon. Light accumulating snow is forecast Wednesday night through Thursday evening across the Tri-State area. Hazardous travel conditions are possible along the Interstate 70 corridor.
