YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  Northwest winds gusting 35 to 55 mph are forecast during the day Tuesday. The strongest gusts are expected generally along and west of Kansas Highway 27.  Accumulating snow is expected Tuesday night through Wednesday night. The snow may be heavy at times Wednesday through Wednesday night. The snow, combined with northeast to northwest winds gusting up to 35 mph will produce some blowing and drifting snow, making for hazardous travel conditions. Stay tuned for future updates.  Wind chill readings Wednesday night through Thursday morning are forecast to drop into the 10 below to 15 below zero range across far eastern Colorado.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight.
