YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND AND TONIGHT...  An Arctic cold front will move through the area this afternoon. Fog is likely to accompany the frontal passage, and could be dense with visibilities as low as one quarter mile. Light snow is possible tonight with accumulations of one half inch or less. Wind chill readings after midnight drop to around 15 degrees below zero.  A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for the entire Tri-State area tonight.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  Arctic air remains over the area through Monday night and will continue to produce chances for light snow and bitterly cold temperatures. Overnight and early morning wind chill readings Sunday night into Monday morning will be in the 12 below to 20 below zero range with 19 below to 25 below zero Monday night into Tuesday morning. Any snowfall amounts will remain minimal.  A Wind Chill Advisory in effect for the entire Tri-State area Sunday night through Monday morning.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
