YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Flurries and isolated light snow showers are possible mainly north of Interstate 70 this evening. A brief reduction in visibility is possible in any area of snow.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  An Arctic airmass will bring the potential for light snow and bitterly cold temperatures Saturday night through Wednesday night. Overnight and early morning wind chill readings between 15 below and 25 below zero are currently forecast. Snowfall amounts on any one day may approach one half inch.  A Wind Chill Advisory is now in effect for the entire Tri State region for Saturday night into Sunday morning.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not anticipated tonight; any reports of snowfall are always greatly appreciated.
