YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect tonight for Cheyenne county Kansas, Rawlins, Decatur, Norton and Graham counties, as well as Yuma County. Snowfall amounts tonight are expected to range from one to eight inches, with the highest amounts in the southern part of these counties.  A Winter Storm Warning is in effect tonight for locations south of the Winter Weather Advisory which is generally along and south of Highway 24. In this area, additional snowfall amounts are forecast to range from three to nine inches. Snowfall rates of one to two inches per hour are expected. Visibilities around a mile or less have been reported and will remain likely through the event.  The snow will end from west to east this afternoon  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  Another round of snow is anticipated Monday through Tuesday. Snow accumulations are possible again, so area travelers will want to remain aware of this system as we get through this weekend winter storm.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected.
