This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT... Light rain changing to snow will occur over portions of the area late this evening and overnight, mainly along and north of Interstate 70. Under an inch of snow accumulation is possible. Slick spots may develop on highways from the wintry precipitation. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY... The next winter storm system to impact the Plains will move through Tuesday night through Wednesday evening. Confidence is still low regarding the track of this upcoming storm system, which will greatly impact snow amounts. However confidence is growing in the potential for accumulating snowfall.
