YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY and TONIGHT...  A Winter Weather Advisory goes into effect at 11pm MST/ 12am CST for nearly the entire area. Mixed precipitation in the form of freezing rain and snow is expected. Expect slick roadways and sidewalks.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  A Winter Weather Advisory goes through 5am MST/6am CST Tuesday for nearly the entire area. Freezing rain will transition to snow throughout the day Monday with accumulating snow continuing into Tuesday morning. Be prepared for slick roads and sidewalks.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected at this time. Any reports of snow, ice or reduced visibilities with the system Sunday into Monday would be appreciated!
