YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Strong winds gusting to around 40 to 45 mph are possible overnight. Some enhanced areas of blowing snow reducing visibility and making local slick spots are possible in areas along and north of the Interstate and along and west of Highway 27. These were the areas that received the most snow from the blizzard on Tuesday.  Wind chill readings tonight across the region will range in the single numbers to lower teens below zero.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  Wind chill readings may approach 15 degrees below zero across western Yuma and Kit Carson counties during the early morning hours of Friday, Saturday, and Monday.  Dangerously cold low temperatures and wind chills are currently forecasted across the region on Wednesday night into the following morning.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed, but any reports of blowing snow would be greatly appreciated.
